Unofficial Shining Force Online

The Odds are you've probably stumbled here by chance while doing a search for Shining Force on the web and are wondering what the heck this site is all about. Well as the vast majority of people who come here each day know Shining Force 2 was originally a game made for the Sega Megadrive/Genesis back in 1995. It has has been a personal fave of mine since the tender age of 13 (I'm now 27).
Back in 2004, I decided to take up the challenge of creating an online version of Shining Force, obviously due to time restrictions a lot of things were removed from my orginal game concept including the much loved battle system!
The project failed to gain interest back in 2007, my pc lost the pop3 details for the email and I neverbothered to set it back up! On the 14th October 2009 I collected those emails and nearly passed out I'm still making my way through them now!
Due to copyright restrictions I'm planning to remove the Shining Force Branding and take things in a new direction.
I'm looking for story writers, graphic / sprite artists and anyone else who is interested in working on an online MMORPG browser game based around the style of old Sega Megadrive/Genesis games. Technology wise the game will be using PHP, Flash and Director.

The project is still ongoing but I sadly don't have the time to do much at present as I'm busy helping with Pier Solar a brand new RPG for the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive!
